If you would like me to paint a portrait for you, please give me a bell and we can have a chat over the details. Ideally though you’d need to collect together a small number of photographs, making note of the one you’d particularly like me to work from. It is helpful to have a few extras, so I get a better feel for the person, which can help me achieve a better likeness. I will accept either prints in the post or good quality JPGs by email.

Next you need to select your canvas size. As an approximate guide, a 30 x 30cm painting would be £200, for a single head and shoulder portrait. Please contact me if you’d like to discuss the size of your portrait and we can work out what’s suitable together. Equally if you would like more than just one person in the painting, do get in touch. I use oil paint on good-quality standard-depth stretched canvas. All portraits are sent unframed.

When ordering your portrait, you will need to pay a deposit of 75%. The balance is payable upon viewing the finished portrait. Payment can be by cheque or Paypal.

I aim to complete portraits in 30 days. If that isn’t possible, due to demand, I will let you know when you place your order.
