The book of Portraits for NHS Heroes

Following the national project of artists painting free portraits of NHS heroes during the Covid pandemic - a project kick started by artist Tom Croft - I'm excited to announce the publication of a book of the portraits!

I was delighted to lend my hand and time to the project, painting two NHS workers, a staff nurse from Blackpool and an anaesthetist and intensive care doctor from Glasgow. And I'm thrilled that my portrait of Alfred Gonzales (which you can see here on Google Arts and Culture) joins hundreds of other NHS heroes in the new book - a fitting tribute to all the hard work that these amazing people have put in during such a difficult time.

Published by Bloomsbury, all royalties, a minimum of £2.50 from the sale of each book, will be paid to NHS Charities Together (registered charity no. 1186569) to fund vital projects. A great Christmas present for the art lover or frontliner in your life. The book, that was released this week, was spoken about on BBC Breakfast this morning, with an interview with Tom Croft and Harriet, who he painted (scroll to 3:05): https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000pbvg/breakfast-12112020.
