I Can Still Hear the Whisper of the Breeze, charcoal on paper

£195.00

This is an original charcoal and chalk drawing of woodland trees, drawn on location at Friend’s Clump, on the Ashdown Forest. It was a cold morning in November, with a biting breeze that tempted me to down (charcoal) sticks, but when something drives you onwards, you find the determination to finish. I’d visited this woodland a few days beforehand, without any art materials and willed myself to come back and draw their majesty.

Drawn with charcoal and chalk sticks on A3 off white pastel paper. The drawing has been fixed to prevent smudging. The piece will come unframed, protected by acid-free tissue paper, rolled in a tube. (for local delivery, I could arrange to hand delivery it flat).

Colours may vary from screen.

Please note that all duties are payable by the buyer. If your country is not listed, please contact me for a quote. I’d be happy to find a carrier.
